It’s a well oiled machine that runs this country and these people never cease to amaze me. We have been exposed to non stop Presidential crap for a year now and much of it was about Hilarious Cintton and weather or not we might finally have a female President.

When it became obvious Clinton could not beat Obama then people started talking about a female VP if she and the black guy teamed up. What a ticket right? A Black man for Prez and a white woman for backup seems like a hot combo for America right?

I don’t think it was going to fly but the idea of a ffemale in office is powerful and the Republicans know this. They saw how much support Hill a beans got and they wanted it for themselves so they dug up some lady to run for the VP position with McCain and in a few shjort days they changed the whole game. Now it’s the Republican ticket and the “family values” tour all over again.

Ther Republicans love to push the right wing religious folks into voting on hot button issues like Down Syndrome Kids and abortion because they are so important to Americans and our “way of life”.

This comment below from the article linked to is an atypical ingredient of the political bullshit soup we live in. “Their base” of religios voters are pumped up because this lady is much like the rest of America and her family is fucked up and we identify with her choices or some shit.

Is that what it takes to run America these days? If she had aborted the down syndrome kid whould she be any less qualified to run this sinking ship?
